dc.description.abstract | A novel mixed ligand complex, Alq(Clq)(2) (q = 8-quinolinolate), Clq = 5,7-dichloro-8-quinolinolate) was synthesized and characterized. An organic electroluminescent (EL) device ITO/TPD/Alq(Clq)(2)/LiF/Al (ITO = indium-tin oxide, TPD = N,N'-diphenyl-N,N'-bis(3-methylphenyl)-1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-diamine was employed to investigate their EL properties. The EL device exhibits green light with maximum luminance of 780 cd/m(2) at 6.7 V. | - |
