dc.description.abstract | We propose and demonstrate an optical pseudo-duobinary transmitter using a polarization modulator and a polarizer. We show through both theoretical analysis and experiments that the proposed transmitter can generate pseudo-duobinary signals whose optical phase difference between marks can be controlled by the driving voltage to the modulator.
