There have been few studies on topology of whole supply chain network as a specific unit of analysis. In this paper we investigate the topological characteristics of a whole military supply chain network using NetworkX by Python, based on the database of 16,394,122 transactions. The result shows that connectivity distribution of militarysupply chain network follows power law. The degree exponents are 2.09 and 2.03, respectively in our study. It means that the military supply chain network is a typical scale-free network. Through this interdisciplinary research, it is expected that network science could be applied to the analysis of SCM as a effective tool to deal with the growing complexity of supply chain network.
