On the achievable rate and generalized dof of an underlaid two-user symmetric interference channel언더레이된 대칭적 간섭채널에서 두 사용자에 대한 달성가능한 데이터 전송 비와 일반화 자유도

In this paper, we consider a specific memoryless Gaussian interference channel where both of two users are underlaid with primary user. Primary user has a priority of transmission which guarantees QoS (quality of service) of primary user as at least noisy interference level. On hence, users in underlaid interference channel have a restriction in their performance for the QoS of primary users. We suggest the QoS constraint in terms of DOF (degrees of freedom) which varies as interference condition from underlaid link to primary link changes. In this, our purpose is to maximize the performance of underlaid user with given QoS constraint. We consider the simple Han-Kobayashi scheme for two users in underlaid interference channel. Each transmitter splits its messages into common part and private part and transmits these to its desired receiver. Here, we consider two cases by considering if primary receivers can decode some part of interfering message from underlaid users or not. If interference from underlaid user cannot be decoded at primary users, then QoS constraint only affect to the transmit power. Thus, it is very similar with IPC (interference power constraint) of conventional cognitive radio model. On the other hand, if some part of interferences can be decoded at primary users, both transmit power and power portion of common or private information are affected by constraint. We proposed two simple transmission strategies - one is that transmit power is fixed and power portion is varied from constraint and another is that transmit power is varied from constraint and power portion is fixed. From the result, we see that proposed two schemes alternatively achieve maximum data rate. The performance of each user is analyzed in achievable rate region and GDOF (generalized degrees of freedom) for a symmetric channel and symmetric rate case. Also, proposed result is extended to the two primary users case.
