Buckling analyses of cylindrical shell with cutouts are performed using the nonlinear finite element method. Results are analyzed with proper parameter variations and the design curve of the buckling load are presented. A four node degenerated shell element with substitute strain field is used. We select the length of cylinder, the radius of cylinder, the side length of cutout and the thickness of cylinder as design parameters. From the numerical experiment it is observed that the buckling load for cylindrical shells with a cutout or cutouts is also proportional nearly to the square of the thickness of the cylinder and is influenced by the length of the cylinder and the side length of the cutout.
