dc.description.abstract | Dot1p (Disruptor Of Tekomeric silencing 1 in Saccharomyces cerevisiase) is a histone H3 K79 methyltransferase involved in heterochromatin boundary maintenance, DNA damage response pathway and transcriptional regulation in yeast and human. Previous ChIP analyses indicate that Dot1p is recruited in actively transcribed region. However, the exact role of Dot1 in active transcription still remain unknown. | - |
