Numerical simulation of Oldroyd-B model in axisymmetric 4:1 contraction flow

The transient flows for axisymmetric 4:1 contractions and Oldroyd-B fluids are considered. We employ a finite element method using equal-order linear shape function, a fractional step method, and DEVSS-G/DG scheme to stabilize the solutions. The results show that the effects of inertia and elasticity on the flow.
