dc.description.abstract640Gbit/s (32 channel x 20Gbit/s) WDM transmission with 0.4(bit/s)/Hz spectral efficiency is demonstrated using short-period dispersion-managed fibre (Perfect Cable (TM)). The average Q-factor was measured to be better than 18dB after transmission over 280km.-
