A peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction technique for multiinput single-output (MISO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems with beamforming is proposed. This technique consists of adaptive antenna selection and phase rotation. By using the proposed method, a large reduction in PAPR can be obtained at the expense of a small signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) loss. According to the simulation results, the PAPR is reduced by 10% in terms of complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) with negligible SNR loss. If a 1 dB SNR loss is allowed, a 33% reduction in PAPR can be achieved.en
