dc.description.abstract | 1 kWe diesel reforming sub-system was successfully developed and has been operated for 1000 hours without significant degradation. Metal-supported solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) was also fabricated up to 10×10 cm scale avoiding expansive manufacturing process. Our metal-supported SOFC shows several critical and significant milestones to solve the crucial problems of ceramic-supported SOFC such as sealing and mechanical strength. In this paper, performance of diesel reformer with sulfur and low hydrocarbon remover (i.e. post-reformer) is discussed. Fabrication process of metal-supported cell developed by our group is introduced and critical issues to fabricate are discussed. ©The Electrochemical Society. | - |
