dc.description.abstract | In this paper, a solid modeler by which one can automatically and efficiently build the 3-D object models is implemented. The proposed method provides a fast and compact object representation by incorporating view-dependent features and the object-centered representation. To test the efficiency of the proposed object representation scheme for recognition, we have implemented a matching process based on the constrained search paradigm. Experimental results show that the proposed method can reduce the time and storage space during the recognition process. | - |
