Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) has a suppressive capability toward Alzheimer's A beta aggregation under light-illumination. Photoinduced electrons of g-C3N4 generate reactive oxygen resulting in photooxidation of amyloid peptides that blocks A beta aggregation. Fe doping of g-C3N4 frameworks results in enhanced optical properties and even stronger inhibition of A beta aggregation
