We report the synthesis of a 3D-structured graphene-Rh-complex hydrogel that works as a robust catalyst for electroenzymatic reactions. When a-ketoglutarate was electroenzymatically converted to L-glutamate in the presence of graphene-Rh-complex hydrogel, the L-glutamate yield increased more than 10 times than that of a free Rh complex.
