dc.description.abstractThis paper gives the conditions necessary for weighted convergence of Hermite-Fejer interpolation for a general class of even weights which are of exponential decay on the real line or at the end points of (-1, 1). The results of this paper guarantee that the conditions of Theorem 2.3 in [11] are optimal.-
