In this paper, the feedback control system for controlling the center error which represents the vibration of the object lens of the pick-up during the movement of the coarse actuator is considered. The center error signal measured from the push-pul I signal is corrupted by the track-cross noise, which degrades the control performance. Through the experiments, we discuss a few issues related to the center error control for improving the quality of the compact disc player as an audio-video equipment.
