dc.description.abstract | The satellite reflections at (1.5-delta 6,0,0) in the solid solution of Zr1-xSnxTiO4 ceramics have been studied by X-ray scattering. Incommensurate-to-commensurate phase transitions were observed in the temperature vicinity of 845 degrees C, 820 degrees C, and 800 degrees C for ZrTiO4, Zr0.98Sn0.02TiO4 and Zr0.95Sn0.05TiO4, respectively. The temperature dependence of the incommensurate deviation factor, delta, was also obtained for ZrTiO4 and Zr0.95Sn0.05TiO4 and compared with Zr0.98Sn0.02TiO4. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. | - |
