Fast convolution approximation scheme for estimating end-to-end delay performance

A simple convolution approximation scheme is proposed to reduce the number of operations and the required amount of data in ATM networks. This approximation method can be used to estimate the end-to-end cell delay variation (CDV) using local information about cell delays in asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) networks.
