QUANTUM MANIFESTATION OF NONLINEAR RESONANCE

We show that the formation of resonance zones in a driven nonlinear system, important in the discussion of the onset of classical chaos, manifests itself in quantum mechanics as a phase-sensitive time evolution of the probability distribution at near-resonance energies.
