dc.description.abstractIn this paper, classification and generation of hazardous wastes, related laws, and the hazardous waste management system currently employed in Korea are introduced. Recently, rapid and sustaining increase of generation rate, unsatisfactory reuse and recycle, inaccurate analysis and testing, and illegal treatment and disposal have been pointed out as major problems of hazardous waste management in Korea. In order to resolve these problems,the future directions and priorities in hazardous waste management in Korea are suggested.-
