dc.description.abstractWe introduce and fabricate new deformed disks to get the directionality. The new deformed disk is cut along a chord. The isotropic radiation from circular mi-crodisks and the anisotropic radiation from deformed disks are monitored by sur-rounding scatterers. The shape of scatterer is a ring-shaped mess laid down sur-rounding the disk. The lasing action of the deformed disk is observed with the threshold comparable to that of the circular disk.eng
