The dynamics and cosmological roles of the phase wave occuring at the cosmological phase transition are investigated to constrain the electroweak models. We calculate the reflection rate of fermions at the phase wave by solving the Dirac equation with the wave background in order to investigate the damping and the velocity of the wave. It is shown that the phase wave from global or local symmetry breaking could be cosmologically harmful. This leads to the conclusion that the theory with degenerate vacuum such as minimal standard model is unpreferable than the model such as 2HDM with nondegenerate vacuum. The galaxy halo model with the PNGB from this nondegenerate vacuum is also investigated.
