The relative comfort and functional utility of chairs and desks are the consequence of their physical design in relationship to the physical structure and biomechanics of the human body.
This research intends to improve the efficiencies of school works by proposing the standard size of chairs and desks.
The followings are dealt with to achive the research purpose in this thesis:
1. Evaluation of the standard size of educational chairs and desks, KSG-2010, used now.
2. Regression analysis of anthropometric data.
3. Decision of the standard size of educational chairs and desks which are suitable to Korean students from the viewpoint of Human Engineering.
