Ultrafast silent MRI using FM DANTE sequence주파수 변조방식을 이용한 저소음 고속 핵자기 공명 영상법에 관한 연구

Until now, the main issue for fMRI is concentrated on the speed of the imaging, especially EPI and SEPI. So, the sound noise is mostly ignored until now. But such a sound has an effect on the human physiology, for example, fMRI. Even though RF based excitation imaging techniques, DUFIS, OUFIS, FM DANTE(more silent compared to conventional gradient fast switching image technique) can cause sound noises which comes from a large readout gradient pulsing. In this thesis, a ultrafast FM DANTE sequence modified for silent MRI using DC readout gradient in conjunction with the FM DANTE sequence is reported. The proposed silent FM DANTE imaging technique successfully reduced the induced sound noise due to gradient pulsing.
