Demand for medical care, consumption and cointegration
This paper considers a generalized version of Grossman's health capital model and derives a cointegration restriction. The restriction is tested using aggregate US data and the results are consistent with the prediction of the model. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
