As the network technology advances, the resource sharing problems become the major research issue to support a referential transparency. To facilitate the resource sharing in networks, a distributed operating system component which is called the resource sharing system is designed in this thesis. The resource sharing system in network environments manages various types of resources including hardwares, softwares, data, and services. The resource management is composed of four categories: resource allocation, resource monotoring, resource sharing, and resource revocation. We designed several servers of the resource sharing system for the resource sharing on the networks. The resource sharing system permits a user to work with the environment which supports information exchange, load distribution, and concurrent processing.
