In this paper, message switching center is simply modeled so that we can obtain an optimal configuration for a given message traffic, given message response time through stochastic simulation run assuming that a network analysis has already been performed so that we can restrict to that of loading effects on the switching center.
Message switching center which can provide sensitivities to the variables of the characteristics of the units which would be simulated is modeled.
In addition, distribution of response time across the message length given number of addressees and number of addressees given message length will also be obtained to aid in the decision process. Practical modeling of the message switching center is represented in GPSS/X block diagram.
Results of this experiment is analyzed and compared with each other in terms of the cost and the timing.
