The axion is originated from the Peccei-Quinn symmetry to solve the strong CP problem [1], now it is one of the candidate particles for cold dark matter [2]. Since the mass of axion is unknow, many different kind of experiment is searching for the mass of axion.
By the gluon-axion coupling, the electro dipole moment(EDM) can be oscillating in the axion fre- quency [3]. In the storage ring, the vertical component of spin can be flipped up when the g−2 frequency is matched with axion frequency. By tuning the g − 2 frequency, the wide range of axion mass can be investigated.
In this thesis, the concept of axion-EDM experiment is explained and sensitivity is estimated by MC simulation. Also, the analysis on the axion-EDM experiment at COSY is described.
