웨이블릿 기반 변형된 거대 메쉬 데이터의 점진적 고속 재압축 방법 및 그 시스템이 개시된다. 주어진 메쉬 데이터를 압축하고 상기 메쉬 데이터의 변형 시 상기 압축된 데이터에서 추출된 정보를 바탕으로 변형된 메쉬의 일부분을 메쉬 전체로 전파하여 재압축한다.
