Designing Online Mediation for the New Normal

Abstract

The power of design for looking deep into people's concerns and coming up with creative solutions to resolve issues can be unleashed in defusing a hostile situation before it escalates to an expensive and damaging litigation.

Everything has changed around the world this past year, including an increased number of disputes stemming from pandemic-induced disruptions. Design has a role to play in developing systems for resolving these issues.
