Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) for lung ventilation monitoring (LVM) is the imaging technology for monitoring the respiration periods of patients. The generated images are usefully utilized as the basic information to control the ventilator settings precisely. This emerging imaging technology can be effectively reduced the side effects of ventilator represented as acute lung injury. In this thesis, we implemented fast-scan and SNR enhanced EIT IC. For improving the image scan speed rather than previous EIT IC systems, we suggested fast-scan voltage sensor including fast settling high pass filter (FS-HPF) and fast settling low pass filter (FS-LPF). For increasing the image accuracy, we designed the adaptive current control (ACC) methods.
