Tandem queueing network, or flow lines have been broadly exploited as an essential model of manufacturing industry and research. However, the expansion of classic results towards more general systems have not been explored for decades. Focusing on the models with deterministic service times, we consider two general deterministic flow line models; hybrid deterministic flow lines and multiclass deterministic flow lines. For these generalized models, this research found the expansion of essential behavioral properties which is already revealed for ordinary deterministic flow lines: Exit recursion, Reordering Principle, Queue equivalence. This dissertation provides customer exit time recursion, fully or partial reordering principle, and queue equivalence for both of generalized deterministic flow lines models. Further, we also provide some ideas about implementation of theoretical achievement toward practical manufacturing systems. Finally, we develop the delay evolution equation which can combine and generalize existing delay oriented theoretical results.
