Currently, university students in Korea are having a hard time finding housing. Existing real estate services are frequently experiencing fraud due to fraudulent sales and double contracts, and university students are struggling with problems such as lack of dormitory on campus, economic burden of high brokerage fee, burden of time and physical constraints due to lack of information, and fraud risk exposure. Since real estate transactions are not light transactions, reliability issues are very important, so new environments and technologies are needed to ensure safe and convenient transactions. Therefore, this study proposes to introduce the Blockchain technology to the real estate market in Korea, which would improve the reliability by opening and recording all transaction information transparently. Furthermore, this study proposes a solution for the problems in real estate transactions currently encountered by university students in Korea by developing and suggesting a new real estate platform model with Blockchain technology. We also seek to verify the feasibility and effect of a newly developed prototype model on university students in Korea. To this end, this study uses three steps: (1) contents composition and modeling of a new real estate platform using Blockchain technology; (2) development of a prototype model; (3) analysis of survey and interview results of actual university students in Korea through user experience. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for further development of real estate platform and Blockchain technology for various people.
