능동 소음 제어가 적용된 식기세척기 및 그 제어방법이 개시된다. 개시된 식기세척기는 식기세척기의 진동을 측정하는 진동센서; 상기 진동센서에 의해 측정된 진동신호를 입력으로 하여 가진신호를 출력함으로써 능동 소음 제어를 수행하는 제어부; 및 상기 가진신호에 따라 가진하는 가진수단;을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
