Recently, as eco-friendly SUV vehicles increase and ADAS system technology is common in vehicles, a lot of technologies for vehicle ride quality are required. Existing vehicle models for ride quality have been widely used to improve
vehicle ride comfort, but the fact that the characteristics on the actual road surface cannot be reflected is a limitation. Also, it doesn`t consider the weight effect of vehicle and the combination of vehicle longitudinal and vertical motion. In this study, we propose a new vehicle dynamic model that complements the limitations of the previous model. Through vehicle simulation, the limitations of existing vehicle models are analyzed and the newly proposed vehicle model is verified.
