Failover를 극복하기 위해 Multi-sig를 활용한 암호화폐 지갑의 Redundancy 기법이 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따른 멀티시그(Multi-sig)를 활용한 암호화폐 지갑의 가외성 제공 방법은, 암호화폐와 관련된 서비스를 실행하는 어플리케이션에서 공개키 및 개인키를 생성하는 단계; 상기 어플리케이션에서 생성된 공개키가 서버를 통하여 적어도 하나 이상의 전자 기기와 공유되는 단계; 및 상기 공유된 공개키를 포함하는 공개키 정보를 등록하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
