In this paper, stage optimization is addressed with midcourse guidance laws. In case of the optimal control, it is the optimal solution for a single scenario. Therefore, in order to apply the optimal control input to various scenarios, it should be stored, interpolated and used in an open loop form. In this paper, the real-time guidance laws used in anti-air missiles are considered. The parameters included in the guidance commands and stage weights are defined as optimization objective parameters. The result of weight optimization using guidance laws and optimal control input were compared, the difference in stage weights results occurs from 4 kg to 16 kg. Copyright (C) 2019. The Authors.
