본 발명은 YAP/TAZ를 이용한 간질환의 진단, 치료 또는 치료제의 스크리닝 용도에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 자세하게는 YAP/TAZ 단백질 및 유전자, YAP/TAZ와 관련 단백질 및 유전자를 이용하여, 간세포계통 세포의 분화 조절을 하거나, 간질환, 예를 들면 간내 담관세포의 과증식, 간섬유증, 간내 담관암 또는 혼합 간세포 담관상피암종(combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma, combined HCC-CCC)의 진단 또는 치료하거나, 약물 후보물질의 스크리닝 방법에 관한 것이다.
