$Ru/ZrO_2-SiO_2$ catalyst is synthesized by wet impregnation. To compare the catalytic properties depending on composition, $Co-Ru/ZrO_2-SiO_2$ (CRZS), $Ru/SiO_2$ (RS), $ZrO_2/SiO_2$ (ZS) are synthesized by same process. $H_2-TPR$ and XANES show strong metal support interaction (SMSI) between Ru and $ZrO_2$. With $H_2-TPD$ analysis, Ru size was 6.3 nm and low dispersion in RS catalyst. However, in RZS catalyst, Ru size was decreased to 1.4 nm and high dispersion due to SMSI. In dry reforming of methane reaction, CRZS catalyst shows low durability due to coke deposition. However, RZS catalyst show high activity and durability. With TPO analyst, CRZS catalyst shows coke deposition. But, RS and RZS catalyst didn’t appear peak. From TEM images, there was coke deposition for spent CRZS catalyst. But, coke deposition was not shown in spent RZS catalyst. In this work, RZS catalyst is developed. It shows high activity and durability in high space velocity
