Past researches for recognizing human affect have made use of many ways using a variety of physiological sensors. However, despite their distinguished merits, how affective dynamics are influenced in the context of human daily life has not been explored yet. Hence, in this dissertation, I present a wearable affective life-log system(ALIS), robust as well as lightweight and easy-to-use in daily life. The proposed system records how a user feels in certain situations during long-term activities from physiological sensors. Based on the long-term monitoring, the system analyzes how contexts of the user’s life affect his/her emotion changes. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed wearable life-log system enables people to understand how their everyday life is affected as the system provides information on their affective dynamics with its surroundings in real-world environment.
