dc.description.abstract | As demand for high-gain and multi-function electronic devices increases, radio communication systems require high efficiency (high gain) and multi-functional antenna. However, traditional technology of antenna has technical and physical limitation to enhanced antenna performance. To develop the antenna performance such as gain enhancement, and wide bandwidth, many researches introduced the technical improvement. However, there is a limit to technical approach to improve the antenna performance. The performance of an antenna is closely related to the material of the antenna. Therefore, in this thesis, the study of theoretical modeling and performance analysis of antenna when applying anisotropic material to antenna instead of dielectric material. In this thesis, we introduced frequency and polarization controlled ferrite resonator antenna using mode splitting phenomenon depending on the magnetic bias strength. In addition, a theoretical model of a homogeneous anisotropic dielectric resonator antenna was established and analyzed in order to derive resonance frequencies, radiation pattern, and directivity. | - |
