The selective catalytic reduction (SCR) under lean burn condition was studied over platinum catalysts supported on the hydrothermally stable mesoporous aluminosilicate(SM-41). Zeolite seeds crystallization method was used for synthesis of SM-41. Pt/SM-41 catalyst showed higher NO conversion than Pt/MCM-41 for the selective catalytic reduction of NO with C3H6 in the presence of 5 vol.% O2 and 10 vol.% water vapor. Hydrothermal stability and hydrophobicity of Pt/SM-41 must be beneficial for the selective catalytic reduction of NO in the presence of water vapor.
