With advent of C-ITS which supports diverse and sophisticated ITS application service, roads, vehi-cles and drivers are getting closer together. And it makes drivers drive safely and conveniently using surrounding information of road infrastructure and other vehicles. Also, with advanced connected car environments, the requirements for device resources which are implemented on the car are increasing because the connected car application services need computation-intensive workings. However, computation-intensive connected car application services are limited in the mobile resource environment. Understandings of global-level vehicle mobility, network configuration, cloud server configuration, service profiling, and collection, process, and management of a large scale data for C-ITS services in connected car environments are required for implementing geographic information-based intelligent car services to realize C-ITS in connected car environment. To do this, the mobility of the user equipment, network connectivity and computation operations should be synchronized organically, and the information should be provided efficiently. In this thesis, we suggest a model of how to manage LDM application services. The suggested model is composed of three steps - on-road detection, event estimation and processing. Especially, the processing step is classified into car movement, operation on network, cloud, and LDM. Also, it can present a provider model for cooperative and cognitive application services using LDM which has recognition, estimation and process from the status of the road. In this thesis, therefore, we describe management for providing services using LDM and provide an experimental system analysis for evaluation about feasibility and functionality of connected car LDM services by analyzing results of simulation using integrated network-cloud simulator.
