감성 전달이 가능한 모바일 기기 및 이를 이용한 통신 방법이 제공된다.본 발명에 따른 모바일 기기는 사용자의 터치 제스쳐를 검출하는 터치 검출부; 및상기 검출된 터치 제스쳐 정보를 타 사용자의 모바일 기기에 송신하기 송신부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하며, 본 발명에 따른 모바일 기기는 사용자의 터치 제스쳐에 대응하는 패턴으로 촉감 신호가 발생한다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 모바일 기기를 통하여 일상적인 커뮤니케이션뿐만 아니라 소정 패턴의 촉감 신호를 통하여 사용자간의 감성 전달이 가능하다.
