본 발명은 각종 전기발광소자에 적용이 가능한 발광 고분자에 관한 것으로 보다 상세하게는 시클로헥실 또는 페닐이 치환된 실릴기를 측쇄로 구비하는 폴리(p-페닐렌비닐렌)의 신규 유도체(Ⅰ)를 개시한다.상기에서 R은 시클로헥실 또는 페닐이 치환된 실릴기이고, m은 1∼4의 정수이다.상기 본 발명의 발광 고분자는 우수한 열적성질과 발광효율을 발휘하며, 실릴치환체의 전자특성으로 인해 녹색의 발광파장영역에서 발광하므로 전기발광소자의 원료로서 매우 우수하다.
