본 발명은 웹에서 퍼블리싱되는 데이터에 대하여 권한이 없는 사용자로부터 민감한 정보를 보호하기 위한 데이터 퍼블리싱 방법 및 장치, 및 퍼블리싱된 데이터의 복호화 방법 및 장치, 및 데이터 퍼블리싱 시스템에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 데이터 퍼블리싱 시스템은 출판된 문서에 대하여 일반적인 XML 조건들(constraints)에 의해서 민감한 데이터가 유추되지 않는 안전한 XML 퍼블리싱 시스템을 제공할 수 있으며, 암호화 구조 인덱스( Encrypted Structure Index)를 이용하여 사용자의 질의 시 빠른 질의 처리를 제공할 수 있다.
