가시 범위 내 통신대상 인식을 위한 단말 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 단말의 통신대상 인식방법은, 단말 사용자의 가시 범위 이내에서 식별자 정보를 모르는 통신대상으로부터 통신대상의 위치정보를 획득하는 단계와, 획득된 통신대상의 위치정보를 기초로 하여 단말에 대한 통신대상의 상대위치를 파악하고 파악된 통신대상의 상대위치를 화면에 표시하는 단계를 포함한다.
