Abstract

In this paper, we propose an improved linear prediction method that suppresses reflected signal from the ground and estimates depth information of landmine. Previous linear prediction method has high false alarm rate because of reflected signal from the ground and it provides no information about the depth of the landmine. Therefore, we apply block-wise linear prediction with estimated ground signal location. It improves the performance of landmine detection system and estimates the location of the landmine along the depth.
