dc.description.abstract | The boundary-value problem of radiation from a coaxially fed monopole in a rectangular cavity is considered. The image theory is invoked to transform the original problem into a simple equivalent. The boundary conditions are enforced in conjunction with the mode-matching method to obtain a set of simultaneous equations for modal coefficients. Computations are performed to check validity and numerical efficiency of the series solution. | - |
