dc.description.abstract | The nanometer-sized Li2TiO3-LiCrO2 nanocomposite cathode powders are prepared by spray pyrolysis. The existence of Li2CrO4 glass material during post-treatment is essential to prepare the nanometer-sized Li2TiO3-LiCrO2 nanocomposite powders. The Li2TiO3-LiCrO2 nanocomposite powders washed with distilled water have the mixed crystal structure of the rhombohedral LiCrO2 and the monoclinic Li2TiO3 without impurity. The mean size of the nanocomposite powders post-treated at 750 degrees C is 130 nm. The initial charge and discharge capacities of the nanocomposite powders post-treated at 750 degrees C are 303 and 195 mAh g(-1), respectively. The capacity retention of the nanocomposite powders post-treated at 750 degrees C is 88% after 30 cycles. | - |
