dc.description.abstractAu-Ag alloy nanoparticles with prismatic structure have been prepared in aqueous solution by photoinduced conversion of spherical Au-Ag alloy nanoparticles. All the particles have compositions close to those expected from the starting ratio of metal compounds. These nanoprisms showed pronounced catalytic activity in the reduction of 4-nitrophenol by NaBH4.-
